What would you do if you just graduated from college? Would you be excited that you never had to study or do school work again? Well, after graduation Matt decided he wanted to learn a new language and he didn’t go back to school. He taught himself! Matt taught himself German by making flashcards after work in the night. Once he knew some vocabulary, he started reading and watching Harry Potter in German. After ten months of studying, he went on a two week trip to Germany!
Matt doesn’t just like to learn new things, he also likes to play basketball, swim and run. He lives near the beach in the summer and likes to kayak and paddleboard. When he was little, he didn’t like to be out on the beach or swim. Back then his favorite things to do were play Legos and MLB Showdown, a baseball card game.
He likes to travel and has been to France three times for a total of about eight months. He has visited during every season and likes the fall the best. He has a lot of favorite foods but probably loves making strawberry smoothies the best. He likes to watch movies and TV series. One of his favorite shows is It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
When he is not in school, Matt lives in New Hampshire with his family, his mom, dad, sister Cate and dog Lily. He was born on July 3rd and is twenty-three years old. Every year there are fireworks on his birthday. Matt is still studying German, but now he has to fit it in while studying at law school. Someday he hopes to go back to Germany again.
